Well to be fair later on I drove another friend’s E90 LCI 328i and it wasn’t as bad. But the first one was just so uncommunicative and feels unnecessarily heavy for a car that looks small. Expectations I guess.

Loved the E39 though.

The LCI for the E90 was no minor undertaking. They changed a lot, even the wheels bases are different. I’ve never driven a pre-LCI E90, my E92 is a pre-LCI but then there weren’t many things they changed in the E92 LCI, basically just appearance things.

The best E90 is the 2006 325i in Arctic Metallic with the 6 speed steptronic, Black leatherette, and the Harman kardon sound system.
